"We had a wonderful stay at Ians cottage in Snowdonia. The location was ideal, surrounded by peaceful countryside, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after hiking up Snowdon on a chilly winters day. "Me and my friend had a lovely stay here whilst exploring Snowdonia. Close drive to snowdon and to betwys-y-coed for a cute lil village trip. The cottage was well equipped for cooking and the Netflix for the cottage was super great. The hot tub was delightful with views of the mountains - yes people can see you in the tub but only those coming up the little track the cottages are on, I didn’t have a problem with this at all. Great cafe a very short walk down the track as well! Would recommend this air bnb to others definitely!"

"Siabod Cottage is a great base for exploring Snowdonia. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing few days away, and coming back to the hot tub and log burner after a day out is perfect. This was my third visit and it certainly won’t be my last."

"Just back from a great short stay in Siabod Cottage. Before we arrived Ian sent an incredibly comprehensive guide, including instructions on how to use everything in the cottage through to local recommendations. The cottage was well-equipped and cosy, and the hot tub in the garden, with a running stream just behind it, was perfect. The heating kept the cottage warm enough that we didn't use the log burner, but there was plenty free firewood available. The location was beautiful, set back far enough from the A5 that traffic noise wasn't an issue, and with views of multiple mountains (including Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon). We would definitely return."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect in this quaint, peaceful cottage. It felt so cosy and the hot tub outside next to the stream was beautiful. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. It is also in a perfect location with lovely local walks, shops and forests for your furry friends - our German shepherd loved it."

"We had a fantastic stay in this cottage. Ian and Sonia were brilliant hosts, being very responsive and providing local recommendations. We did Snowdon one of the days and it was the perfect place to stay for that - especially with the hot tub for afterwards! We then drove to Anglesey one of the days which was beautiful. Siabod Caffi next door is perfect to get some breakfast before a days walking. We did a food shop before visiting which I’d recommend just so you don’t need to drive to a shop during your stay. Also, the pub about 5 mins walk was good fun. Thanks to Ian and Sonia, we had a fantastic long-weekend and we’ll definitely be back!"

"We were looking for a peaceful break that would be ideal for our young baby and our dog. We got exactly what we asked for and more. Every amenity that you could possibly need was on hand. The views and surrounding areas are beautiful. Host Ian was extremely helpful and responsive from the moment the booking was made and co host Sonia was there when we arrived to greet us, and was an absolute delight to chat to, and really helpful with local knowledge."

"We had a fantastic family weekend stay in Ian's place. The weather may have been less than ideal but Ian's house was a fantastic place to stay. Comfortable beds, great bathroom and really cosy with the log burner in the living room. The hot tub got well used, even in the rain, and was a delight to have available. A short walk to the Tyn y Coed for great pub food and local beers. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay. Capel Curig is well placed to access all of Snowdonia and Ian's place is a great find. Would very happily return."

"A wonderful country escape! The house was spacious yet cosy and clean. Perfectly located for hikes — with beautiful trails just a short walk away. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, looking out at the mountains and sheep. The local pub does a great steak and burger! We enjoyed resting our tired feet by the fire, playing a few card games provided in the cottage and listening to music. Different lamps and lights created a relaxing and inviting ambience. The cottage is warm and easy to adjust if needed, though the wood burner did an amazing job of heating the whole place anyway (no additional fee for wood) .Hot water is on demand (not on a timer) — perfect after a muddy, sweaty hike when all you want is a proper shower! The kitchen had everything we needed, including a big fridge and freezer. Surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Ian and Sonia were very quick to respond to any of our questions.a nice gift on arrival - free map of the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again."

"absolutely incredible property. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Cosy and cottage like but with all the modern conveniences you need. We went for a long hike in the snowy weather, and returned home, lit a fire and soaked our aching legs in the hot tub. althoughtjust off the main road, it was so peaceful and quiet. On the first night the sky was clear and the star gazing opportunities were incredible due to the location. We were able to catch the Snowdon Sherpa to Pen Y Pass, and was a pleasant walk back from the local pub following our hike. Ian and Sonia were helpful and responded quickly to our messages. Wanted to rebook before we'd even left!! Brilliant home and brilliant hosts. Thank you!"

"Fabulous cosy cottage in a peaceful, yet convenient location, right on the doorstep of Snowdonia, Betws-Y-Coed and Tyn-Y-Coed pub. Very clean and warm with a comfortable bed and awesome shower. Cedar hot tub was an added bonus with great views of Snowdon. Hill walks start from the cottage door and there is a cafe and bus stop at the end of the drive. Ian and Sonia were extremely responsive and very friendly. Can’t rate highly enough!"

"Great location - it’s a short drive to mountains and shops. There is a cafe just 2 mins walk from the house and a good pub perhaps 5 mins walk down the road. The house was clean and tidy with everything you need. The hot tub was ace - especially after a day on the hills. We are a family of four with a small dog and had a great time. Thanks for having us."

"Lovely cottage. Very cosy and hot tub was a great addition. The house had everything we needed. Location is good for Betws-y-coed but there isn’t a great deal within close walking distance. One of the local pubs is closed. There is a cafe at the end of the road but we didn’t get chance to go. Loved the Swallow Falls Inn for food and Hanging Pizza. Great stay and would highly recommend."

"Loved every minute of our stay. The cottage was in the most beautiful place, with every changing colours and spectacular views. Cottage was perfect for our family of four, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Hot tub was an added treat at the end of the day. We didn't get to the top of the mountain this time, so will have to come back!"

"An amazing stay in a beautiful location with the added bonus of the hot tub with spectacular views. Very relaxing, lovely cottage very cosy with everything we needed. Friendly neighbours particularly Sonya who was very pleasant, our German shepherd loved running around with neighbouring dogs. Very handily having a nice friendly cafe within walking distance. "Absolutely beautiful cottage and location - the photos definitely do not do it justice. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and warm and location is beautiful with stunning scenery and great walks from the doorstep. The hot tub and the log burner were the icing on the cake! Ian provided really detailed, accurate and helpful instructions for finding the cottage, gaining access and everything you could possibly need for your stay, and Sonia was really lovely and helpful. Will definitely be coming back for another visit as soon as I can."

"The cottage is lovely, high quality and beautifully presented. It is way to find (even in the dark as we arrived a little later than we had expected). The beds were really comfortable, the shower was great. The kitchen was compact but perfectly formed. The hot tub was a lovely luxury it was fabulous to sit outside in the tub and relax after a hard days hiking. Ian and Sonia are extremely helpful they are very quick to respond usually within 1/2 an hour. After we had booked we received a link to an online guide that they had prepared, it was full of useful information about the cottage and the local area. The restaurant information was spot on and we enjoyed most of the restaurants recommended. We had a great stay - not long enough though - we would love to return. Definitely recommended."

"Another wonderful stay at Ian and Sonia‘s cottage. The cottage is spotless, cosy and has incredible views of Siabod and Yr Wyddfa. It’s conveniently located right next to a cafe for a hearty pre-walk breakfast and there are a couple of pubs within a ten to fifteen minute walk. My kids were absolutely enamoured by the wild rabbits in the garden and me and my husband enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub. Both Ian and Sonia are lovely, responsive hosts and made us feel so welcome."

"We had a wonderful stay; it's a fantastic location with great views, a café yards away, and a lovely pub just a 10-minute walk away. The house is very cosy, with great decor, and a sweet touch was the inclusion of recommended books on the bedside tables. The hot tub was very relaxing, but our highlight was the sheep that came to visit; I don't think they were supposed to be outside the front door! Just so relaxing being in such a great surrounding, and I had a fantastic hike. Recommend."

"My fellow motorcyclist and I were looking for a relaxing location and establishment for a few days and found it all at the cottage. Easy check-in, no-nonsense accommodation wonderful hosts. Easy to get too and for us a cafe at the end of the driveway. we found it excellent as a central location for rides outs in every direction on the bikes with wonderful scenery and some great walks. "A charming cottage, set in a beautiful location. Had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a bonus after a day's hike up and down the Llanberis path. Clean, cosy and immaculately presented. The books on the bedside tables were a lovely touch. We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage is set in a very peaceful area, set back from the A5. Easily accessible to Llanberis for Snowdon parking. About a 25 minute drive. Good amenities nearby. Thank you Ian, we loved it!"

"What a great little cottage! It’s characterful, warm and comfortable with everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful and the location is ideal for hiking Yr Wyddfa (Pen Y Pass a 10min drive) or Zipworld (Penrhyn Quarry). The hot tub in the back garden is a lifesaver after a day of mountain climbing! Ian is a brilliant host, his communication throughout has been first class. We’ll be back!"

"What an amazing place beautifully presented in a fabulous location and dog friendly, lovely enclosed rear garden and within walking distance (10 mins max) of a beautiful pub with the best steak we have had for a long time. Ian the host is fantastic very responsive to any message sent with a stunning place to stay, exactly how you would expect and more, even had dog treats in a jar ! Will definitely stay again at some point when we come back on a walking trip, Moal Siabod is in view and you can walk it from the house with a map provided, tryfan and Ogwen just a short drive oh and a famous cafe on the doorstep literally ! No need to cook breakfast. Thanks Ian excellent work"

"We had a fantastic week staying at the cottage, and really felt at home. Set in the gorgeous and peaceful countryside of Capel Curig, it was a really convenient location for exploring Snowdonia and visiting family on Anglesey. Beautiful inside, so warm and cosy, we loved coming back home to the cottage every evening, and particularly enjoyed the hot tub and log burner after our long hikes in the rain! The bed was super comfortable and the shower very luxurious. Kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Sonia and Ian were both very responsive and friendly, always happy to answer questions and provide recommendations. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back!"

"Ian’s place was a little slice of heaven We booked for our hike up Yr Wyddfa, the location was perfect, walking distance to the bus stop that took us straight to the bottom of the mountain, the views were stunning and the hot tub was incredible after the long hike. "The cottage is in a great location to easily explore the area - Zipworld Fforest, Llanberis, Betws-y-Coed are all close by. Ian's directions and advice on local services are spot on. Sonia also gave us a warm welcome and extra information when we arrived to make sure we settled in okay. The garden was closed in enough for our dog to be let loose. The area is very quiet despite being just off the A5. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely clean & comfortable old cottage in an excellent location for exploring the area, with a bus stop and a good cafe on the main road just 100m down the lane. The hot tub is an excellent feature and was very welcome after long days out, although it's not especially private. I'd be more than happy to stay again."

"Myself and a group of friends booked Ian’s place about 5 days before we arrived and we could not have been happier or more lucky with this booking! The cottage was stunning and really felt like a little escape; a home from home. We are part of a fitness group and we’re spending the Saturday climbing Snowdon. When the organised event was rearranged for a date in September, I contacted Ian asking for options to potentially rearrange our booking. Ian was really helpful and friendly with what could be done. We decided to do the hike anyway and travelled up on the Friday evening. The kitchen facilities were great; we did all of our own cooking. The inclusion of some Welsh cakes on arrival was a brilliant touch! The beds were comfortable and the cottage was quiet. The log burner was also great and kept the cottage cosy in the evening. The hot tub was a great way to relax our aching legs and backs after our hike, with a glass of wine of course! Would definitely stay again!"

"One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed, and we travel a lot! The location was idyllic for us, with plenty of walks and close reach of snowdon. The space was well maintained with ample space for us and our dog, a very cute cottage. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was lovely and the views to die for. Sonia was just lovely, she was staying next door whilst we were there and it was nice to catch up when our paths crossed, she’s a credit to the cottages. We could have done with a few more essentials just to make it really feel like home, as when we were cooking there really was just basics, but this is probably just because we prefer to eat in and we were there for 5 days. Also if you have a dog, probably stay next door! This cottage worked for us but maybe not for others with escape artists. Other than that we really have no complaints at all, and had the best time. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be recommending and hopefully be back! :)"

"Ian’s cottage is a beautiful little gem, was a perfect location for walks and access to Snowdon. Sitting in the hot tub after a long walk was just what we needed and to have fields of ship next door with new born lambs running was lovely to watch. We had one slight issue, sudden panic we’d locked ourselves out the cottage, (this wasn’t the case) both Ian & Sonia got in touch with us within 2 minutes of sending an s.o.s for support. Just a short drive from so many great restaurants and attractions in the area, this spot is super convenient. Even though you will need a car to get most places, there is still a cute cafe and a beautiful hike within walking distance of Ian's place. I would definitely suggest it to anyone looking to travel to the Snowdonia region."

"This house was perfect for me and a friend for a 5 day hiking holiday in Snowdonia. It was cosy, clean and modern with a rustic charm - a lovely place to come back to after a full day out walking. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our own dinners - the only thing was the kettle looked like it had seen better days! I enjoyed the eco-friendly outdoor hot tub. Blankets were provided to cosy up in front of the TV which had Netflix all set up. We saw Sonia about a few times tending to the other houses which was nice as we felt like we had someone to go to if we needed any help. Would definitely stay again - thank you!"

"We had such a great week at Ian and Sonia's house. It's an idillic little cottage tucked away off the A5. You feel like you're away from it all, whilst remaining on easy road connections to Snowdonia's greatest hits! Sitting in the hot tub looking at the sun set over Moel Siabod is breathtaking. And the sunrise over Snowdons horseshoe from the bedroom window. Every detail is taken care of by the hosts! Brew kit, fire kit, it's like walking into your own home. They are both very friendly and approachable, we got some great recomendations on local routes, and we'd recomend their cottage to any of our friends. Wether you want adventure on the door step, or a cosy few nights in a hot tub or by the fire. This is the perfect stop for you."

The hot tub helped soothe aching limbs after walking up Snowdon of course, plus Beddgelert and Devils kitchen. Ideally situated for walking in Snowdonia. "Our stay at the cottage was perfect. It was cosy and felt right at home. We received clear instructions on how to check in . when we emailed the host they were responsive. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Everything has been considered for and including safety. Kitchen and bathroom was modern, everything you need in the kitchen including eggs and milk in the fridge, tea, sugar and biscuits in the cupboard. I ended up staying in all weekend and I wasn't bored, between Netflix you tube music and my book, I was occupied. We loved the pocket size waterproof map with local walks. The Hot tub was a bonus. Easy to use and no faff...and the sound of the stream whilst sat in the hot tub was lovely. The view from the cottage, you have Moel Siobad and in the distance the mountain ranges including Snowdon. A lovely cafe at the bottom of the path, had an amazing carrot cake and cheesecake.... I will definitely be returning for a calm relaxing weeken"

"Myself and my daughters have just returned from a few days at the cottage. We have had the most amazing time, the cottage is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was our favourite thing, wonderfully relaxing next to the stream. The views from the cottage are incredible and breathtaking. The cottage is just a short drive into the very pretty town of Betws-y-Coed. Sonia was the best host! Absolutely lovely and always just a message away with a super quick reply. I know this all sounds just too good to be true but it really was a perfect place to stay."

"Ian's cottage was in a perfect location to explore snowdonia especially for those who are looking at doing the zipline. The cottage itself is really cozy and picturesque and it was great to unwind at the end of the day listening to the stream flow whilst sat in the hotub. check in was a breeze with clear instructions how to get inside and the cottage was nice and clean. We also checked out some of local places to eat which were reccomended in the book. The ugly house was just down the road and did amazing welsh rarebit. Ian's place was great value for money and I would definitely stay again."

"Ian’s place truly is located in paradise! Capel Curig is just gorgeous — dreamy mountainous scenery with access to so many walks and the lovely river! We were able to walk out the door to beautiful hikes up into the hills, to lakes, through forests, along the rivers, awesome outdoor shops in Capel Curig and of course, the incredible National Outdoors Centre (for food, drink, activities and scenery!). But Betsw is a short drive as well! Ian and Sonia were so friendly and helpful, there to answer any questions. The cottage is very clean with a cozy fireplace and an excellent shower post hiking! The hot tub is obviously a cherry on top — it felt so good and was so easy to use! The views from the front of the house with the hot tub are just incredible. We brought some groceries and drinks and just loved being there for long June nights. With Ian’s directions, the place was easy to find, easy to park. Ian provides a lot of wonderful & helpful recommendations, too! Hope to return!"

"Ian's place is fantastic! My husband and I stayed for 4 nights, as we wanted to climb Snowdon and do some exploring. Ian was very responsive, and instructions were clear. The cottage is very pretty and has all the amenities you need (the shower is excellent! )The log burner made the evenings very cosy, and relaxing in the hot tub with the spectacular views was blissful. We met Sonia soon after we arrived, and she was very friendly and helpful. On her recommendation we walked a woodland path (just across the road from the cottage), and a short but beautiful 20 minutes later we arrived at Plas y Brenin national outdoor centre. The food and views are excellent, and on a particularly wet day we did some indoor climbing. Betws Y Coed is a short drive away, along with some spectacular waterfalls and woodland walks. Snowdon is easily accessible by Sherpa bus, or a short drive. Overall I would recommend Ian's place to anyone, and we would definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful week!"

Provisions left for us in the fridge, plus tea and coffee. "Lovely cottage and the host is very responsive / easy to contact. Beautiful surroundings and lots of gorgeous walks nearby. Nice cafe at the bottom of the road and a couple of pubs pretty close by. Would definitely recommend! We stayed for New Year’s Eve as two couples and dogs and loved it, if we were to be hyper critical, dogs aren’t allowed upstairs which is understandable but, there’s no baby gate / door at the bottom of the stairs to keep them downstairs which makes it difficult as it’s all open plan and there’s only one downstairs bathroom so if you need to use the bathroom during the night, it means a trip downstairs which in turn, disturbs the dogs! But, the cottage is lovely, it has a cute log burner fire and a hot tub too which is fab especially considering the price! I would visit again!"

"We had a great stay at Ian's cottage. The accommodation was perfect for us as a family of 3 and a large dog. Everything was clean and we didn't miss any home comforts. The hot tub is so lovely, such a treat to come back to in the evening (one of the main reasons we booked this cottage). The location is perfect as well know attractions are easy to get to in all directions. There are some beautiful walks from the cottage over the back or, if you cross the road, you can walk through the park and come out by the adventure centre which, if you are lucky, has great views of Snowdon within just 10 minutes of the cottage The weather was miserable when we were there but that didn't stop us having a great time in the area and knowing we had lovely accommodation to return to was fab We definitely hope to return x"

We didn’t eat in as we’re only there 3 nights and needed a break so can’t comment on kitchen contents other than … Relieved there was milk for a cuppa and some eggs for breakfast which was most welcome . Cottage cosy and warm and comfortable, dogs settled but had to use the sofa to barricade the staircase on the first night as all open plan . A stair gate might be useful. Co host was really lovely and friendly and very helpful . Blown away with beauty of the local area . Cafe does a top breakfast…not for the feint hearted! It’s a walkers breakfast ! And they were really lovely . Our cable for charging our car didn’t reach so charged up overnight in the cafe for £5 ."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s in a fantastic location with easy access to Snowdon and surrounding area. There are lovely walks starting straight out of the front door. We left it too late booking the parking at Pen Y Pass, so decided to use the bus which stops a few mins away from the cottage. It actually worked out great and would definitely use it again…and was cheaper for a family hop on/hop off ticket (£13) than parking and allowed us to walk down from Snowden in to Llanberis. The cottage itself is well equipped, very cosy and tastefully decorated and is surrounded by spectacular scenery. The hot tub is brilliant after a day walking. Sonia was on hand to answer any questions and was very helpful. Overall we had a very nice break and would definitely go back."

This cottage is in an ideal location, located right beside many beautiful trails and with a breathtaking view of Snowdon and other nearby mountains. We decided to skip Snowdon and climbed up Moel Siabod which is located in walking distance of the cottage and a plenty challenging hike. It was wonderful to relax in the cedar hot tub after. A great café and pub are also located very near by. You hardly have to drive anywhere! The cottage itself is quaint and cosy, especially with a wood fire. Highly recommend."

"We've had a brilliant weekend in Wales, based at Eryri Cottage - great location, cottage is really cute/cosy and the hot tub is a treat (our kids have loved that part). The cottage has everything you need, it is really well equipped and nicely decorated too. Staying here puts you in a really good spot to get to Bewtsy-Coed easily. We walked it, stopping at Swallow Falls & The Ugly House cafe on the way. Hanging Pizza in BC is must-visit too :-) Moel Siabod is literally 'over the road' from the house/main road and Llanberis Lake (a good place to start Snowdon walk from) is about 20 minutes drive. We'd love to come back and stay, we didnt get to Plas Y Brennan this time BUT it'll be on the to do list for our next visit and we'll be bringing the paddleboard."

"2 adults/2 kids (15 & 13) Stayed early June 2022. Wow! What an amazing find this cottage was. Absolutely spotlessly clean (and we are fussy!) Location was fabulous, so close to all North Wales has to offer. 10mins from Snowdon/Betws y Coed / Zip World etc. Superb restaurants nearby. The cafe at the end of the drive is FAB! Real hearty breakfasts to set you up for the day! Hot tub is out of this world, especially after a long day on the hills. So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage has everything you need including a little welcome pack with milk, eggs, T bags, coffee etc. A nice touch after a long journey. We will 100% be returning, it really is a great cottage."

"What a fantastic place this is to stay. My family of four stayed from 29.5 to 1.6 and we had the best time. The cottage was easy to find. Sat Nav took us directly to the cottages and the instructions provided by Ian got us to the parking outside the cottage with no issues. Check-in was hassle free, just collecting keys from a lock box. The Cottage itself was fantastic, has everything you would need for both short and longer stays. We especially enjoyed the hot tub of course and given the weather, the log burner was a treat. The place has real character and the views from every room are stunning. Wildlife in abundance around the cottage too. I'm no twitcher but could watch the birdlife for hours. Some other great touches worth mentioning are the blankets provided to help you sit out an enjoy the views for longer and the bluetooth speaker! Location wise the cottage is ideal. It was ideally placed for our day at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry and wandering around Betws-Y-Coed. There are some good pubs / restaurants close by. We found some good take-aways available within 15 min drive in Lanwrst. All in all, the cottage is the perfect place to stay to explore this stunning area."

"Everything was even better than expected. The space was nice, cozy and warm with anything you could need. There were only two of us but I believe the space would be fine for 4. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of it. The main bedroom was lovely (we didnt use the other bedroom). Having breakfast in the front garden with the surrounding views is a real treat. The hot tub is a great bonus and will keep you nice and warm after a day's walking even at 8pm in November. I think even if it didnt have the hot tub the space and surroundings would be worth it. We didn't get to meet Ian but the co-host, Sonia was lovely and very helpful. The house guide is very thorough and will answer almost any question you could have and more. It's provided in a paper format inside the cottage as well as on this app. I'd recommend giving it a once over before you arrive. The cafe at the bottom of the drive will provide hot food and drinks if you need it with veggie and vegan options available and the staff are very friendly. We did our food shopping in advance because I think the nearest supermarket is a drive away so be conscious of that. All in all I would thoroughly recommend a stay and it's likely we ourselves will be back."

"Could not ask for a more relaxing place to stay. I learnt the difference between a hot tub and a jacuzzi whilst staying here. A hot tub is a game changer. The cedar wood smell was the most amazing surprise, it was exactly my style!! The location is so convenient for anyone hiking around the area, local town isn't too far by drive either. private gated parking is available. A soak in the tub after a climb up Snowdon was just the thing we needed. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who loves peace, quiet, star gazing, fresh air, general well being and endless views. I cannot forget to mention the sound of the stream that soothed me to sleep; a surprise bonus! To enhance your experience I would recommend bringing bathrobes and flip flops I forgot to pack mine sadly!! But there was no despair as the super absorbent fluffy towels did their job perfectly! The heaters in the place work a toasty treat and the fireplace was easy to use, I was touched that you provided free logs for us as not slot of places do. The only thing I could say caused myself PERSONALLY an issue(and I'm an oddity) is that I'm 6ft4 and the bed has a footboard(my own made up technical term) so the bed was too short for me as my legs could not straighten out. But that's something I should have checked with Ian before booking and I only noted this as there may be others as tall as me. Thank you again for accommodating us with a soothing stay, I'm missing the hot tub already and inspired with the idea of making or getting my own now!! Not a jacuzzi. A hot tub. Not any old hot tub. A cedar wood tub."

We made use of the hot tub twice in the evenings which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of activities and walking! Ian was very helpful and provided lots of local information. "The position of the property is just perfect for most of what Snowdonia offers. There is a lake which is 30 minutes walk away and where we swam quite often (it was hot!) You can catch a bus to one of the walks up Snowdonia from the bottom of the drive, and the local pub serves amazing food. The house was comfortable and Sonia was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Before we arrived, I had quite a few questions and Ian would get back to me very quickly …. nothing seemed to be a problem! The garden isn’t completely secure, so if you have a wondering dog (we do!) bear this in mind. We just used a long lead for when we couldn’t watch her all the time. The hot tub is just wonderful after a long day’s walk - not too hot, not too cool. All in all, a great place to stay!"

"I was apprehensive about booking due to covid, but I spoke with Ian beforehand who was really friendly and he offered me help and reassurance, as I’d also never booked on AirBNB either. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect for our stay, an amazing location with stunning views, with Anglesey, Llanberis, Bedgelert and other beautiful towns less than 20-30 mins drive. The cottage was impeccably clean. I was unsure what to expect from the eco hot tub, my 9 year old loves the bubbles but I assured her it would be amazing - oh my days we are converted and will never want a bubbly one again! Sitting outside with a mountain view, the birds singing, the gentle wooshing of the stream and the most amazing smell from the wooden tub, it was absolutely heavenly. I wasn’t sure if the hot tub was shared, I think this may have changed recently as the garden is now fenced off from the neighbours though there is still a gate, but the two neighbouring cottages have hot tubs at the front and Siabod has one at the rear, so it was for our personal use which was great. We will most definitely return to this perfect, stunning location. Other points to note on the cottage - beautifully clean bathroom with a fab dual head power shower, dishwasher, fridge and large freezer available for use, the log burner wasn’t required as the weather was gorgeous but that’s also a wonderful feature, and there was a delicate balance of lovely mindfulness books and WiFi and a Netflix account to keep everyone happy and entertained! We ordered from Asda to be delivered on the day of our arrival and there were no issues there at all. Absolutely perfect place to stay, and I’m fussy :)"
