"Such a lovely Cottage. Very comfortable a real home from home. We did have some rain in initially but the views when the weather cleared were breath taking! So much to do locally & also great walks from the door. Highly recommend & definitely hope to go back! Thank you for a terrific stay!"

"Me and my friend had a lovely stay here whilst exploring Snowdonia. Close drive to snowdon and to betwys-y-coed for a cute lil village trip. The cottage was well equipped for cooking and the Netflix for the cottage was super great. The hot tub was delightful with views of the mountains - yes people can see you in the tub but only those coming up the little track the cottages are on, I didn’t have a problem with this at all. Great cafe a very short walk down the track as well! Would recommend this air bnb to others definitely!"

"We had a fantastic family weekend stay in Ian's place. The weather may have been less than ideal but Ian's house was a fantastic place to stay. Comfortable beds, great bathroom and really cosy with the log burner in the living room. The hot tub got well used, even in the rain, and was a delight to have available. A short walk to the Tyn y Coed for great pub food and local beers. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay. Capel Curig is well placed to access all of Snowdonia and Ian's place is a great find. Would very happily return."

"A wonderful country escape! The house was spacious yet cosy and clean. Perfectly located for hikes — with beautiful trails just a short walk away. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, looking out at the mountains and sheep. The local pub does a great steak and burger! We enjoyed resting our tired feet by the fire, playing a few card games provided in the cottage and listening to music. Different lamps and lights created a relaxing and inviting ambience. The cottage is warm and easy to adjust if needed, though the wood burner did an amazing job of heating the whole place anyway (no additional fee for wood) .Hot water is on demand (not on a timer) — perfect after a muddy, sweaty hike when all you want is a proper shower! The kitchen had everything we needed, including a big fridge and freezer. Surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Ian and Sonia were very quick to respond to any of our questions.a nice gift on arrival - free map of the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again."

"Fabulous cosy cottage in a peaceful, yet convenient location, right on the doorstep of Snowdonia, Betws-Y-Coed and Tyn-Y-Coed pub. Very clean and warm with a comfortable bed and awesome shower. Cedar hot tub was an added bonus with great views of Snowdon. Hill walks start from the cottage door and there is a cafe and bus stop at the end of the drive. Ian and Sonia were extremely responsive and very friendly. Can’t rate highly enough!"

"An amazing stay in a beautiful location with the added bonus of the hot tub with spectacular views. Very relaxing, lovely cottage very cosy with everything we needed. Friendly neighbours particularly Sonya who was very pleasant, our German shepherd loved running around with neighbouring dogs. Very handily having a nice friendly cafe within walking distance. Overall a lovely time had and would definitely come back again. Thank you."

"Another wonderful stay at Ian and Sonia‘s cottage. The cottage is spotless, cosy and has incredible views of Siabod and Yr Wyddfa. It’s conveniently located right next to a cafe for a hearty pre-walk breakfast and there are a couple of pubs within a ten to fifteen minute walk. My kids were absolutely enamoured by the wild rabbits in the garden and me and my husband enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub. Both Ian and Sonia are lovely, responsive hosts and made us feel so welcome."

"We had a wonderful stay; it's a fantastic location with great views, a café yards away, and a lovely pub just a 10-minute walk away. The house is very cosy, with great decor, and a sweet touch was the inclusion of recommended books on the bedside tables. The hot tub was very relaxing, but our highlight was the sheep that came to visit; I don't think they were supposed to be outside the front door! Just so relaxing being in such a great surrounding, and I had a fantastic hike. Recommend."

"My fellow motorcyclist and I were looking for a relaxing location and establishment for a few days and found it all at the cottage. Easy check-in, no-nonsense accommodation wonderful hosts. Easy to get too and for us a cafe at the end of the driveway. we found it excellent as a central location for rides outs in every direction on the bikes with wonderful scenery and some great walks. Just a short drive from so many great restaurants and attractions in the area, this spot is super convenient. Even though you will need a car to get most places, there is still a cute cafe and a beautiful hike within walking distance of Ian's place. "This is the absolute perfect place to stay when you are exploring the many peaks in Eryri National Park. The hot tub is a godsend after a day of hiking, and the log burner is a fantastic addition. Ian left incredibly helpful and detailed instructions for accessing the property and using it's facilities. This was such a peaceful area to stay, and the property felt very private. "We couldn’t have asked for a better location or place to stay. The location is perfect very scenic and peaceful, it was a lovely view to wake up to and had pubs and cafes down the road. Sonia was lovely and very friendly and both Ian and Sonia were responsive. We were lucky enough to have seen the northern lights and it was a perfect place for us to see them, truly magical. The cottage itself was perfect, everything we needed and nice and cosy, we felt right at home. Perfect place for beautiful walks as-well and hot tub was great to get into after long walks! "Perfect Welsh cottage for a family of 4, it was super cosy in a pretty spot and had everything we needed. The hot tub helped soothe aching limbs after walking up Snowdon of course, plus Beddgelert and Devils kitchen. Ideally situated for walking in Snowdonia. Great pub Tyn-y- Coed 10 minutes walk away, lovely evening meals. Would definitely recommend Ian’s cottage, and hope to return. Thank you for hosting us!"

"Ian's place is fantastic! My husband and I stayed for 4 nights, as we wanted to climb Snowdon and do some exploring. Ian was very responsive, and instructions were clear. The cottage is very pretty and has all the amenities you need (the shower is excellent! )The log burner made the evenings very cosy, and relaxing in the hot tub with the spectacular views was blissful. We met Sonia soon after we arrived, and she was very friendly and helpful. On her recommendation we walked a woodland path (just across the road from the cottage), and a short but beautiful 20 minutes later we arrived at Plas y Brenin national outdoor centre. The food and views are excellent, and on a particularly wet day we did some indoor climbing. Betws Y Coed is a short drive away, along with some spectacular waterfalls and woodland walks. Snowdon is easily accessible by Sherpa bus, or a short drive. Overall I would recommend Ian's place to anyone, and we would definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful week!"

"A perfect weekend away in a tranquil location. 10min drive from snowdon and plenty of other beautiful walks very close by. The hot tub was a real highlight- never needed heating up and was always set to the perfect temperature. The Airbnb itself was small but had everything we could need for two days away as a family of four. Easy access bathroom downstairs and kitchen with plenty of utensils. The shortbread, eggs and milk left for our welcome was a lovely touch :)"

"Had a lovely weekend trip away staying at Ian’s place. The hot tub was perfect after climbing Mount snowdon and we loved the view of the mountain range and sheep from it. The rooms were large and spacious with comfortable beds and the living room was cozy and perfect to relax in especially with the working fire place. It was in a great and convenient location. "A cosy and homely cottage to spend New Years. We appreciated some twinkling Christmas lights around the fireplace. Great location with multiple walks off the doorstep. Betws-y-Coed just a short drive away. The hot tub is great and well kept. We braved it on a blustery, cold and rainy evening and it was lovely and warm. Provisions left for us in the fridge, plus tea and coffee. Most importantly, some treats and a bowl for our furry friend, Max🥰 Ian, our host was responsive and friendly and we liked Sonia, his co-host who lives next door. Max loved meeting Sonia's happy and playful pups."

"We had a great stay at Ian's cottage. The accommodation was perfect for us as a family of 3 and a large dog. Everything was clean and we didn't miss any home comforts. The hot tub is so lovely, such a treat to come back to in the evening (one of the main reasons we booked this cottage). The location is perfect as well know attractions are easy to get to in all directions. There are some beautiful walks from the cottage over the back or, if you cross the road, you can walk through the park and come out by the adventure centre which, if you are lucky, has great views of Snowdon within just 10 minutes of the cottage The weather was miserable when we were there but that didn't stop us having a great time in the area and knowing we had lovely accommodation to return to was fab We definitely hope to return x"

"Fantastic little cottage in a great setting, so close to so many things to do, just a 15 minute drive to pen y pas car park to walk up snowdon. The hot tub after we had tackled the climb was a god send and we spent a relaxing few hours enjoying the views. Cottage was very clean, lovely and cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, great little back garden for the dog. Ian and his co host Sonia were excellent with regards to communication and any questions we had. A fantastic few days had by all. Thank you so much."

"Couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. Cottage is amazing, so well thought out, we didn’t need anything. Beds were comfortable, heating worked well and it had a good shower! Location was perfect, amazing views from the tub and with direct access to several nearby trails and lakes. Some good cafes / restaurants around and only a short drive from Bets-y-Coed which has a good pizza place. Can’t fault it, Sonia was also a lovely host. We will be back again."

"Loved Ian's beautiful cottage in scenic Snowdonia. This cottage is in an ideal location, located right beside many beautiful trails and with a breathtaking view of Snowdon and other nearby mountains. We decided to skip Snowdon and climbed up Moel Siabod which is located in walking distance of the cottage and a plenty challenging hike. It was wonderful to relax in the cedar hot tub after. A great café and pub are also located very near by. You hardly have to drive anywhere! The cottage itself is quaint and cosy, especially with a wood fire. Highly recommend."

"We've had a brilliant weekend in Wales, based at Eryri Cottage - great location, cottage is really cute/cosy and the hot tub is a treat (our kids have loved that part). The cottage has everything you need, it is really well equipped and nicely decorated too. Staying here puts you in a really good spot to get to Bewtsy-Coed easily. We walked it, stopping at Swallow Falls & The Ugly House cafe on the way. Hanging Pizza in BC is must-visit too :-) Moel Siabod is literally 'over the road' from the house/main road and Llanberis Lake (a good place to start Snowdon walk from) is about 20 minutes drive. We'd love to come back and stay, we didnt get to Plas Y Brennan this time BUT it'll be on the to do list for our next visit and we'll be bringing the paddleboard."

"The position of the property is just perfect for most of what Snowdonia offers. There is a lake which is 30 minutes walk away and where we swam quite often (it was hot!) You can catch a bus to one of the walks up Snowdonia from the bottom of the drive, and the local pub serves amazing food. The house was comfortable and Sonia was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Before we arrived, I had quite a few questions and Ian would get back to me very quickly …. nothing seemed to be a problem! The garden isn’t completely secure, so if you have a wondering dog (we do!) bear this in mind. We just used a long lead for when we couldn’t watch her all the time. The hot tub is just wonderful after a long day’s walk - not too hot, not too cool. All in all, a great place to stay!"
